Ramoji Rao’s daughter-in-law made member of varsity Board

sailajakiranSailaja Kiran, a successful business woman and daughter-in-law of media tycoon Ramoji Rao was made a member of the administrative board of the Padmavati Mahila University at Tirupathi. AP government has also nominated Sangita Reddy, Joint Mangaing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group and a member of the family of Pratap C Reddy, the Chairman to the Board.

Sailaja Kiran is heading Margadarsi Chit Funds and Priya Foods wings of the Ramoji Rao’s business empire. She is wife of Mr Kiran who is MD of Eenadu daily and ETV group news channels. Other members who were appointed to the Mahila varsity board are: Former MLA Lalitha Kumari, D Bharathi, MV Ramanamma and P Sumathi.

The state government has nominated members to boards of 11 varsities today.
