The of Reserve Bank India Governor Raghuram Rajan has assured the newly formed T-state on sorting out the issue of new farm loans. The problem was created in the farm loan waiver when the banks denied pushing the new loans to the farmers.
Raghuram Rajan also assured to consider funding the restoration of irrigation tanks worth Rs. 25,000 Crore in the rural areas under the proposed window of rural infrastructure.
On Wednesday, the RBI Governor had also called the Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh and senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu to discuss on AP. Meanwhile, it was reported that the Governor of the authoritative bank has readily accepted the proposal to establish Reserve Bank’s regional centre in Vijayawada.
Raghuram Rahan also applauded the state government’s initiative of Farmer Empowerment Corporation.
