Realtors active at Yadgirgutta

yadagirigutta-temple-1Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy temple atop the Yadgirgutta in Nalgonda district is in the news.  More so after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made clear that he would leave no stone unturned to develop the temple on a grand scale. A tourist place as well. It sparked off the realtors, who began their work with a bang. Pilgrims worship Lord Narasimha Swamy in large numbers. The temple is not far from Bhongir railway station and well connected by the RTC fleet. About 134 acres is under the control of the temple. The temple officials used 103 acres for other activities. Over 350 acres has been identified near the Hill Temple. After the cm’s visit and announcement to modernize the hill temple the real estate business picked up.  Investments galore began. Land development has commenced as the state government has been contemplating an action programme for expansion of the town to convert it into a beautiful place with big and attractive gardens, rest houses, lakes and so on . It would be another major tourist attraction if that is the indication available. According to well informed sources, the government has taken it seriously after bifurcation of AP on June 2. The world famous pilgrim city Tirupati has gone into the fold of residual AP. Those in TS shall be satisfied to see that the Hill temple in no way lags behind. Development has progressed with buyers coming to own a piece. The registration office is said to be abuzz with activity. An acre was sold for Rs 20 to 30 lakhs earlier. Now this is said to be doubled. At another place one acre was sold for Rs 8 to 10 lakhs. Now this cost also more or less doubled.
