Red Sanders smuggler arrested

Gangi-Reddy 475The Mauritius Court has handed over the international red sanders smuggler Kollam Gangireddy to Andhra Pradesh CID additional DIG Dwaraka Tirumala Rao team and the DGP Ramudu is expected to produce
the thief before the media persons under tight security, informed Ramudu. The smuggler from Kadapa was facing charges that he had supplied cell phones to Maoists in the Alipiri bomb attack on CM N Chandrababu Naidu and was living in foreign countries for one and half years. He was also caught red handed in the red sanders case in Kurnool in 2014 and was bailed out on May 16. After Telugu Desam Party received the public mandate in 2014, the smuggler managed a duplicate passport and ran away to foreign land on May 18. Police issued red corner notice later. Gangireddy was arrested when he was trying to escape from Port Luis airport in Mauritius. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao represented AP government in the Mauritius court for custody of Gangireddy.
