Hyderabad: Whereas the Major Taher Hussain Khan laid to rest with military honours at the graveyard near the malla reddy medical college near his house at suraram village in Quthbullapur mandal with all his relatives and friends. The 31 years old Khan died while on duty when the Dhruv helicopter he was co-piloting crashed in the Kurshu forest at Safapura of Bandipora district of Kashmir.
And around 500 Army personnel also paid homage to Khan sounding last post by buglers of the AOC centre and three-gun salute and other commanding general officers also attended.
The scene at Khan house was heart rendering and his father Sarwar Hussain Khan, retired Air force officer was inconsolable and his mother cried “Khuda Hafiz mere bacche”
And one of his brothers is in Army and younger brother posted currently in the Air force Begumpet and consoled. And other officials also attended the funeral.
