Row over Indian govt attending Pak day celebrations

pak-dayA fresh controversy has erupted on Indian government attending the Pak day celebrations being held at Pakistan Hich Commission this evening. Union Environment minister Prakash Javadekar has turned up for the celebrations, which was also attended by the separatist Huriyat Conference leaders- Mriwaiz and Geelani and others. Several experts and opposition parties have castigated the government’s ‘flip flop’ saying it amply proves Modi’s double standards on war on jihadists. Mos Jitendra Singh who earlier thought of attending the celebrations, has opted out sensing there could be a row.
