acing protests from the hopelessly outnumbered BJP contingent in the Delhi assembly today, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not miss the chance to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Lalit Modi row. On the first day of the Budget session, the Delhi assembly saw many disruptions as the three BJP lawmakers in the house taunted the government on former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar, currently in jail for allegedly faking his degrees. “We demand an explanation,” shouted BJP legislator OP Sharma, who charged out of his seat and walked up to Mr Kejriwal.

The Chief Minister did respond to his demand, but hit back with a reference to the Lalit Modi controversy that has engulfed the BJP-led government at the Centre.
