Rs 1 Lakh Health Insurance to every citizen : Venkaiah

Venkaiah-NaiduThe country has a shortage of approximately 4 lakhs doctors said Parliamentary affairs minister M. Venkaiah Naidu. “If we can overcome this problem then a healthy society can be constructed “ said the minister. Only 4% of the GDP is being spent on health grounds and the government is planning to increase the budget allocations in the health department explained the minister. Health insurance scheme will take off on April 1st and for this Rs 1500 Crore has been allocated Clarified Mr.Naidu. Rs 1 lakh medical expenses will be borne by the government for every citizen, and 3000 generic medical stores would be set up across the country assured the minister.
