Rs 100 cr budget for Vemulawada temple : CM

ACE-MEDIA-KCRwerChief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to develop the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple on a grand scale allocating Rs 100 crore budget every year. All facilities including rest houses will be provided for the devotees visiting the temple in three to four years, he announced. He wants to consult the Kanchi Kamakoti seers to make alterations for expansion of sanctum sanctorum as part of the renovation to the temple for convenience of the devotees. Stating that the temple tank would be converted into a Ring Bund, he said that Nampally Gutta would be developed in 125 acres. He plans to build a stadium for conducting the celestial wedding celebrations. The Sankepally canal would get the mid Manair back waters and it will be made a tourist centre. After review meeting the cm met the party activists and discussed the constituency problems. In his whirlwind tour the chief minister showered boons in a row and said that the temple would be given a great facelift. He also examined several important locations in the town and directed officers to follow his plan of action. He said that Vemulawada is one of the top Shiva shrines in the country.
