Rs 150 for kg tomato

Tomato price hikePrices of hot favourite in the kitchens – crimson coloured vegetable Tomato along with nother green vegetable beans were out of reach of common man overnight and seized the Deepavali pleasure in north Indian States Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh. A kg of tomato settled down at Rs 150 and that of lemon went up costing Rs 100 a kg in place of Rs 50 a kg which belied the expectations of the public even on the festival occasion. Earlier, onion prices were up forcing people to give it up. They are frantically trying to get near the public representatives to see that prices of commonly used vegetables are brought down.
