Rs 30 cr stay cost of MPs flayed

parliament_house_india_widescreen_pictures_wallpapersThe Central Government has so far paid Rs 24 crore to Ashoka hotel in New Delhi and another Rs 6 crore is yet to be paid to the luxurious hotel for the stay of MPs as they could not occupy the quarters allocated to them because the occupants did not vacate. The whole expenditure has been met by public funds, according to information furnished by the RTI.  In all, 120 MPs stayed in the said 5 star hotel initially. After some MPs shifted to their quarters now another batch of 27 MPs has still occupied the luxurious hotel rooms after getting elected. Rama Kishore Singh tops the list of occupants, according to Parliament secretariat. As of now MPs’ food subsidy attracted lot of criticism from networking sites and now the MPs are bound to attract more criticism in the latest issue of their 5-Star stay surfaced by RTI.
