Rs 300 cr for Vemulawada temple, CM to worship

rajannaThe TS government has readied a master plan to develop and modernise the famous Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple at Vemulawada in Karimnagar, which is known as the Dakshina Kasi at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to review the developmental works. Before that the chief minister along with his family will participate at a special worship programme at the temple. Later, he will review with officials the temple development and lay the foundation stone for the developmental works. The cm has arrived in Karimnagar last night and stayed in his own house at Teegala Guttapalli. Local TRS leaders, activists and district officers gave a grand welcome to him. Elaborate arrangements were made to receive him. This is the first time that the cm has visited the temple town after assuming the office of cm. Security has been tightened.
