Rs 4.5 lakh cr investments for Digital India

Digital-IndiaInvestments to the tune of over Rs 4.5 lakh crore to the prestigious Digital India scheme have been coming from national and international corporates after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched D I week on Wednesday. Out of the total investments, the lion’s share was claimed by Mukesh Ambani of Reliance who announced Rs 2.5 lakhs crore for DI. Tata group chairman Cyrus Mistry praised the efforts of Modi saying that it was a good foresight of the pm. Wipro chairman Azim Premji said that the target to provide digital services at every door step would place India along with other developed countries in the world. On the whole big houses came forward to extend their assistance so that the dreams of the prime minister would be fructified.
