Saina loses No 1 rank

saina 786_468x323Hyderabad’s shuttle champ Saina Nehwal lost her number one rank when she could not enter the third round in Japan Open and Denmark Open tournaments. After All England Badminton and World Badminton championship her performance was said to be poor while losing 1630 points. The Spain shuttler Karolina Marine stood as first ranker with
81,782 points in the BWF rankings. Saina reached the second round in the French Open series. Another shuttler P V Sindu reached women’s finals in the Denmark Open stands at 13th rank while in men’s singles
Kidambi Srikanth, Parupalli Kashyap, Pranay also came down in their rankings. In women’s doubles Jwala Gutta and Ashwini claimed 13th rank.
