The Bombay Sessions Court said that the prosecution failed to prove charges against Salman Khan. A case was booked against Salman Khan for drunken and rash drive, causing death to one person and injuries to four others. The Mumbai Sessions Court sentenced him to five years imprisonment on May 6 2015. But the Mumbai High Court granted him bail on May 8, 2015
During arguments at the sessions court, Salman maintained that his driver Ashok drove the car which caused the accident. But the keeper of the parking slot deposed in the court that he had given the ignition key to Salman only. Salman had to be behind the bars for two days before being granted bail by the Mumbai High Court.
Now Salman is free of all charges.
