Save heritage buildings, CM orders

warangal-fortThe State Government has concentrated focus on heritage buildings and directed the officers concerned to prepare an action plan. As part of it the cm has decided to amend changes in the Heritage Act to give a face lift to the buildings under ruins. A committee headed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will identify the old buildings. Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma will be vice president and principal secretaries of municipal, PR, revenue, tourism departments, will be members. In districts, district collector will be chairman and SP, JC and other officers will be members. Officers must submit action taken reports on their safety. CM also ordered officers to formulate guide lines to speed up the process.
