SC accepts curative petition on homosexuality

The Supreme Court has accepted a curative petition filed by several gay rights activists to reconsider it’s earlier decision terming homosexuality a crime. Advocate representing Naaz Foundation argued that the SC judgement was given based on old laws which have undergone changes in the recent times. Justice Sathasivam will now examine the documents, without any chance for the lawyers to present arguments and will take a decision. Several senior advocates requested a full bench, open court hearing.
