Seat-sharing has not been finalised in Maharashtra, says Amit shah

amitThe national president of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah on Thursday has denied the reports saying a deal has been finalised with its close ally Shiv Sena on sharing of seats in Maharashtra.

Amit Shah said in Mumbai, “Talks with Shiv Sena over seat-sharing are still on, no agreement has been reached on the issue as yet”.

“We have moved two steps, now it is your turn. The BJP wants the matter to be solved keeping our self respect intact. Let’s solve the matter soon. I can assure you that this time it will be a BJP government in Maharashtra”, Shah added.

“In the flight today, I was telling the state BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Vinod Tawde to resolve the alliance issue quickly. They said they were trying their best but were not getting response (from Sena),” he said.

Shah was speaking to party workers at Mumbai airport. He took the occasion to attack Congress and NCP. He asked his party men to “uproot the scam-ridden Congress-NCP” government in Maharashtra to ensure the state’s return to pride and progress.
