Sensex loses 1624 points

000_Del6319422Trading in stock markets suffered heavy losses as the Sensex lost 1624 points within minutes after the markets became functional and Nifti too incurred losses to the extent of 490 points under the impact of international markets downward trend, according to experts. Rupee exchange value against dollar remained at Rs 66. 49. Stock holders were upset over the sudden decline in the bourses prevailing two years ago and the reason has been attributed to China abridging the Euro which in turn influenced the international markets, according to RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan.
