Shiv Sena: No Announcement on Support to BJP Government in Maharashtra

Untitled-4In a breakthrough, reportedly the Shiv Sena and the BJP to have agreed to form a coalition government in Maharashtra on Monday.

According to the sources this morning senior state leaders of the two parties met. Shiv Sena agreed to lend support to the BJP government.

Sources further added, details of the government formation are being worked out and a formal announcement could be made later today.

At the same time, while addressing the reporters the Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that party chief Uddhav Thackeray met all elected Shiv Sena MLAs at the Sena Bhawan. During the meeting, the party expressed gratitude towards people in Maharashtra who voted for Shiv Sena.

Raut further added, All MLAs have elected Thackeray as their legislature party leader. On the issue of support to BJP, Raut said no decision on post-poll alliance with Shiv Sena’s erstwhile ally has been made yet.
