Nothing is permanent in politics, friendship or animosity. The famous saying seems to be proving true once again in Maharashtra. Pre-poll, the two parties, BJP and Shiv Sena broke their long-run alliance over seat sharing and contested the elections separately speaking against each other. As soon as the polling completed and the exit poll trends started showing complete majority to the Centre-ruling BJP, the Shiv Sena started to think over possibilities.
‘Saamna’, the mouth-piece of Shiv Sena published an editorial on Friday written by the party chief Uddhav Thackeray. The editorial was written in a very soft tone saying, the time to break hearts has been over and there are no more requirements of arguments or bitternerss.
The editorial further said that Maha state needs stability and there would be a situation to compromise.
