Shivraj Singh Chouhan backs BJP’s decision to drop veterans from Parliamentary Board

sivraj-singh-CHowhanShivraj Singh Chouhan, the CM of Madhya Pradesh, who has been included in the apex decision making body of Bharatiya Janata Party, said on Wednesday that the party has not sidelined the veteran leaders and founders of the party but they are the ‘guides and philosophers’ for the party.

“This question does not arise. They — party founders Atal Behari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi — are guides and philosophers of ours,” Mr. Chouhan told reporters.

BJP, in one of its daring and genre-changing decision, has dropped the party’s three senior most leaders, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi from the parliamentary board of the party.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan added, ““The veteran leaders who spent their entire lives in building the party will continue to be our guides and philosophers. It is because of them lakhs of party workers have come up in life. Even in future, the government and the Sanghathan, will seek guidance from them”.
