This issue was discussed with CM KCR a couple of months back against the backdrop of hike in pay for lawmakers in several states.The Delhi assembly’s recent four-fold hike in basic salary and allowances of its members was also discussed with the CM. Taking this in view government has appointed a committee. After carefully studying the salary structure of various states. the committee recommended a hike from Rs.1.25 lakh to Rs. 3.5 lakh.
Vehicle loan may be increased from Rs.15 lakh to Rs 40 lakh.
The pension will be hiked from Rs 50,000 to Rs. 65,000. Ex MLA’s and Ex MLC’s will be paid Rs 65,000 as salary.
