Hyderabad: The student’s organisations and others want to celebrate Valentine’s Day. OU JAC, the All-India students Federation and other backward classes and minority community student’s organisation will be put together for the freedom of love programme.
“We are basically opposing the moral policing by the Bajrang Dal and right wing who force couples or lovers to get married. But they say that it’s a democratic country and everyone has the right to freedom of expression and freedom to love. We are not indulging in anything vulgar”, they said.
“A large number of people, including couples and youngsters would gather at the OU Arts college. We will show that we do not fear outfits like the Bajrang Dal and others,” said other AISF student leaders.
“They are our brothers and sisters. We are not against them, but we are against this foreign and western culture that is killing our Indian culture. As we plan to reach out to youngsters in a peaceful way. If we are able to make even 200 youngsters ware, there will be 200 less people celebrating feb 14 next year”, said the Bharath Vamsee and other media incharge.
