Hyderabad: The Telangana state cabinet has decided to appoint a sub-committee to study the levy method and quantum of commercial taxes being collected in other states. The meeting headed by the CM KCR nod to six ordinances that would be introduced in the coming budget session.
Various ordinances like land acquisition for Drinking water, grid, naming of Horticulture university after late freedom fighter Konda Lakshman Bapuji and others.
They also gave approval to reforms in VAT sector, cancellation of market committees and a few other issues relating to MA & UD and Health departments. The ministers should make it a point to answer queries relating to their department without leaving the job to others. Replies should be full of details, crisp and precise, he stressed.
