The Supreme Court directed the Centre to resolve the matter over the formation of government in Delhi. SC asked to end the deadlock and seek from the center about the steps it taken to facilitate the formation of Delhi government.
Not only asked the central government to resolve the deadlock on Delhi Govt Supeme but also questioned the MLAs that why they are sitting at home. The apex court has also asked the Centre if it would keep the assembly in suspended animation as both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have maintained that they are not ready to form a government in Delhi.
The dissolving of Delhi government arose as Arvind Kejriwal had resigned as Delhi’s Chief Minister on February 14, 2014. He remained in the power for just 49 days as he failed to file the Jan Lokpal Bill in the assembley.
