Sushma Swaraj External Affairs Minister meets Mexican counterpart Jose Antonio Meade Kuribrena, at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhavan, New Delhi. Kuribrena also met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to discuss issues of bilateral interest.
The two leaders shook hands before they headed for Joint Commission meeting. The two countries are also expected to sign bilateral agreements/Memorandum of Understanding.
India’s leading trade partner, is Mexico in Latin America. The bilateral trade volume was USD 4.15 billion in the year 2011, which has the potential to reach to USD 10 billion by 2015.
