T-gov Aims at Reopening Nizam Sugar Factory

nizamThe TRS MLA from Bodhan Md. Shakeel informed that KCR government is keen on resuming production in age old Nizam Sugar Factoy or NSF. He said that a team of MLAs are set to tour Maharashtra’s sugar factories and will submit report to the Cheif Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao soon after the tour.

Md. Shakeel said that the state government is committed for the welfare of farmers and workers in the state.

The closed Nizam Sugar Factory is located in Bodhan and has been declared a sick unit. It was established in 1921 as the biggest sugar factory in Asia by Mir Osman Ali Khan and it was spread over 15,000 acres.
