In Hyderabad, AP leaders have claimed that Seemandhra population in and around Hyderabad had helped the TDP to win Assembly constituencies even after the bifurcation of the State and hence it would be in the larger interest of both the parties to have poll alliance. As the BJP party making master plan to gains for the coming GHMC elections.
The BJP could not win more than 5 seats and that TDP votes did not get transferred to the BJP. Hence severing ties with them will not create any problem. The TDP is fast losing its sheen in TS.
They also argue that discontentment against the TRS government had already begun and this was the right moment to break away from the TDP. And also leaders from Congress and YSRCP and also some leaders from TDP so that it can emerge as an alternative to the TRS in the next elections or at least fill the political vaccum and occupy the position of major opposition.
Most of the Senior leaders of TDP like A Revanth Reddy, K Dayakar Reddy who have strong sangh parivar background are willing to cross over to BJP as they feel that they do not have political future for them in the party. The senior Congress leaders have come to the conclusion that they will not come to power for next 10 years and hence are willing to come out of political hibernation so that the gen next would be benefitted.
