After postponing the maiden budget session of the newly formed state Telangana several times, the TRS government has finally decided to hold the session from Nov- 5. The decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting held Friday evening. This budget will be an outline for the future development of the state and the agenda of the government for the next five years.
The budget session is also expected to attract interest of the nation as the several conflicts between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are yet to be resolved and the budget may also give an opinion on the inter-state relation of the two states.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has formed 14 task-force teams to outline the budget, which includes the short-term, mid-term and long-term goals of the state.
