Telangana CM’s Aerial Survey Costs Rs 6 Crore

Telangana-CMHyderabad: A helicopter arranged by AP Aviation Corporation was stationed at Begumpet airport from September 15 to December 31, 2014 for CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao.K. Pradeep Chandra, Special chief secretary to Telangana government and industries secretary, issued orders on Wednesday stated that the expenses on hiring a helicopter for one month was approximately Rs 2 Cr and entire expenditure incurred so far had been around Rs 6 Cr since Sept 2014.

On Sunday orders were issued to the Telangana Aviation Corporation towards hiring helicopters/aircraft for the CM and other VVIP tour programs in Telangana releasing Rs 4.92 Cr.

CM KCR has been conducting aerial surveys of the city and districts to identify suitable lands for various projects and for Cinema City. He took the pharma industrialists along with him by arranging two helicopters to examine lands for the Pharma City on the city outskirts.

According to the surveys were also done to identify lands for cinema city. Meanwhile, another 15 lakhs was released to set up additional CCTV cameras at the CM’s camp office in Begumpet.
