Telangana govt to vacate Secretariat in ten days

telangana-secretariatTelangana government will be vacating the secretariat in ten days in order to get it renovated and construct new buildings . An order to this effect is given by Chief Secretariat Rajiv Sharma. A group of nine IAS officers were entrusted with the task of shifting the departments to various other buildings in the city.

According to the plan, BC welfare, Irrigation, Panchayat Raj and three more wings will be shifted to their respective departmental offices and commissionerates. The rest of ministries will be changed to BRK Bhavan. Chief Secretary urged all HODs to cooperate shifting the secretariat immediately.

It is likely to take a year to complete the construction and renovation of buildings. Government has already sanctioned Rs 350 crore for this purpose.
