On the verge of cyclone ‘Hudhud’, the Telangana government has also started preparation to meet any unwarranted situation. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has alerted the district officials in view of likely heavy rains that may slam the state under the effect of ‘Hudhud’.
Cyclone ‘Hudhud’ is likely to hit the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on Sunday, according to a report by Meteorological Department.
The Chief Minister asked the district collectors of all the 10 districts to monitor the situation in the areas under their control and take as many precautionary measures as possible.
