Five months after its formation, Telangana will get its first planned budget on Wednesday. The first budget session of Telangana begins on Nov-5 and the budget will be placed on the same day. The session would be held for about a month.
The session of Assembly has also attracted attention as the state government plans to change several legislations and acts which were enacted by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. The Finance Minster of Telangana Etela Rajender will present the first budget of the state.
The government plans to hold the session in evenings and on Saturdays as to give more time to debate.
Several poll promises of KCR would reflect the budget. Similarly, various development projects are in line to be announced.
Deputy Chief Minister T. Rajaiah will present the Budget in the Legislative Council at the same time.
