Telangana to Get its High Court Soon

Untitled-18The newly formed state of Telangana would soon have its own High Court, dispatching its judicial section from the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Reportedly, the Chief Secretary of Telangana Rajiv Sharma met the Chief Justice of India HL Dattu to discuss over the proposal and it was readily agreed by the CJI.

The two proposed premises for the Telangana High Court are Parada Palace in King Kothi and R & B Guest House in Erram Manzil. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma visited both the places to enquire about the facilities and space available.

The Telangana government has agreed upon to handover the current Andhra Pradesh High Court building to AP government.
