Telugu Actor Ahuti Prasad Dies of Cancer

AhutiOn Sunday, Prominent Telugu artist and comedian Adusumilli Janardhan Vara Prasad alias Ahuti Prasad passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 62.

An authority from KIMS Hospital said “He was undergoing treatment for some health-related issues at our hospital for the last few days. He showed signs of improvement last week, but his condition worsened this morning (Sunday) and he died half an hour ago.”

Ahuti was misery from colon cancer.
He made his cinematic debut in 1988 Telugu film “Ahuti”. Since then, he carpeted in over 100 films, mostly in Telugu, and one each in Tamil and Hindi as well.
In Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Sooryavansham”, he played a brief role. Some of his best Telugu films include “Malliswari”, “Bendu Apparao RMP”, “Indra” and “Chandamama”.

He is subsisted by his wife and two sons Karthik and Bharani.
