IT and Panchayat Raj Minister of Telangana KT Rama Rao on Tuesday gave an open offer to the leaders of Telugu Desam Party in Telangana to dump their party and join hands with the TRS, in order to develop the state.
He also extended his offer to the Congress party leaders in the state. He further demanded the Congress leaders to apologize to farmers and rub their nose on the ground in Hyderabad before leaving on a state tour to ascertain situation of farm sector.
“Having lost power and in a state of depression, the Congress leaders are talking irresponsibly. The Congress was like shani to the state. The Congress leaders are to be blamed for the present power crisis in Telangana”, said KTR.
The cabinet minister further added,”Is Congress not responsible for the present power crisis since they ruled the state for 40 years? Farmers should question the Congress leaders when they come to them”.
Mr Rao also took the occasion to slash the CM of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly sending Telangana state into a situation of power crisis.
He slanged, ‘Telugu Desam is a gone case in Telangana’.
“Though Telangana achieved freedom, some Telangana Telugu Desam leaders are continued to live as slaves in the TD under Mr. Naidu. Telangana people will not accept Andhra hegemony. My advice to them is to quit TD and join TRS and support the new government” said KTR.
