Timmapur will be Tirumala of Telangana: KCR

Untitled-1Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has announced that the temple of Lord Balaji at Timmapur Gutta in Nizamabad district will be developed on the lines of Tirumala. After participating in the Brahmotsvams of the temple today, he stated that he would soon take the view of Sri Sri Tridandi China Jeeyar Swamyji on this issue.
“Timmapur is located in a scenic ambience. Pleasant nature, lush green meadows, transport facility along with the three hills remind us of Tirumala. I am donating Rs 10 lakh instantly for the development of the project and sanctioning Rs 10 crore for the same. Fortunately, nearly 340 acres surrounding the temple is government land. And let me announce that this land belongs to the Lord. A protected forest, an amusement park for children and families, guest houses, rest houses, Kalyana mandap and others will be built. If not Tirumala, this is going to remind us of Tirumala. Our engineers would soon visit the place and prepare a development plan” he explained.
The Chief minister reiterated that he would soon go to Tirumala to offer the gold ornaments worth Rs 5 crore which are being made by the TTD on behalf of Telangana government. “I prayed the God during the Telangana Movement that if separate state is granted, he would submit ornaments worth Rs 5 crore on behalf of our government and I am going to honor that commitment” he said.
“Balaji is the Lord, wherever he is.. He is almighty and omnipresent. People across the globe offer prayers and place before Him their desires. This is a question of praying the God and not a question of Andhra or Telangana” Mr Rao stated.
