Titanic biscuit cost £ 15,000

imagesA biscuit secured from a passenger of Titanic ship sunk in 1912, was auctioned for 15,000 pounds ( Rs 14 lakhs ). The ship was proceeding from Southampton, London to New York and sank after dashing against a huge iceberg killing many people in its wake. James Fun Wick who went to rescue the passengers found the biscuit. Later, a Greece collector owned it and then it was put to auction by Shirlo Henry Aldridge & son company in England. A Greek company was the successful bidder and purchased it at last.
