TJAC ceases to exist as employee unions walked out

TJACTelangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC), which spearheaded the Telangana agitation has almost ceased to exist as the employee unions have decided to quit. In an emergency meeting, the leaders passed a resolution stating there is no need for continuation in the JAC at all. “The political JAC was formed for achieving statehood of Telangana. The goal has been achieved. The problems of employees, teachers and other categories of employees are slowly being addressed to by the new government. Under these circumstances, we don’t feel it necessary to continue in the JAC. In fact, this decision of JAC’s continuation is not required has been proposed in the last meeting itself. We have given our stamp of approval to it now. We need to concentrate on fighting with the Union government for adopting anti-employee measures” a press release after the meeting said.
