On Tuesday, in Mumbai Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be meeting his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis. These CM’s will discuss about interstate issues and cooperation between two states.
Sources say that, on Monday, the CM will fly to Mumbai from New Delhi, will stay at the Raj Bhavan as host of Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao, where his birthday will be celebrated.
As Telangana is reeling under the power crisis, Mr Rao will especially request Maharashtra to provide surplus power to Telangana. Sources said that he also request Mr Fadnavis to allow Telangana to use Maharashtra’s power lines.
From centre Telangana government had planned to take up and seek national project status like mega-irrigation project, Pranahita Chevella, the Lendi project, check dams and other inter-state issues will also be discussed by Mr Rao before he returns to Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.
