CM says that the parties which attended the meeting supported its proposal to regularise illegal constructions in 125 square yards of government land, which mostly belong to middle class, with nominal rates.
The government also proposed charging hefty fees even market rates for illegal constructions that were built in 300-500 square yards and above 500 square yards area.
Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka after the meeting said that the government lacks clarity on the issue and it has provided old statistics related to Urban Land Ceiling applications. He said that the discussion on the issue was incomplete and the government has not fixed a new date for continuation of all-party meeting.
Mallu also asked all party meeting to discuss the Metro Rail route in the old city.
L Ramana and Errabelli Dayakar Rao leaders of TDP also viewed same and said the government should disclose the number and types of cases which are pending in different courts. They proposed for the special court for dispose off all the cases within six months. They also sought probe into the benami properties in the city.
