TPCC releases a “Janata manifesto”

The Telangana Congress has released the poll manifesto for the upcoming elections under the supervision of central minister Jairam Ramesh, TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Damodara Raja Narsimha, manifesto committee in charge D Sridhar Babu, Mallu Bhatti, Uttam Kumar Reddy and several other leaders.

The major points of the manifesto are given here:

10 more districts will be established in Telangana,

A martyrs memorial park in five acres will be built,

The martyrs’ families will get assistance in housing, employment, pensions and ex gratia, A 100 crore Prof. Jayashankar fund in this regard,

BC Subplan implementation, minority sub plan,

All belt shops in Telangana will be removed,

All vacant education jobs will be filled within a year,

Every Mandal will get Sc, St residential schools, every assembly constituency will get a Navodaya school, every district will get a medical college,

Special increment to “Sakala  Janula Samme” participated employees,

Weaker sections will get five lakh subsidy houses,

National status to Pranahita Chevella

Farmers will get 10 thousand incentive,

All industries will get ten year tax benefit,

Housing plots to Journalists,

Every district will get one lakh new jobs, filling up of all backlog posts,

Employment eligibility age will be raised to 40 years,

All tanda’s will get panchayat status,

Electricity for farming sector  will be given during the day, that too seven hours uninterrupted,

Thousand pension to elderly and disabled, detailed health scheme for all.

Manifesto committee chairman D Shridhar babu has said that this is a Janata manifesto, an implementable manifesto, not just meant for announcement. He has also said that it is the duty of the Telangana public to give Congress a thumping victory in these elections.

TPCC chief Ponnala has said that the manifesto rightly does justice to all sectors of the society, the crucial self respect, self rule and social justice have took the center stage in this manifesto.

TPCC working president Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mallu Bhatti also spoke during the occasion.
