‘Training and Appraising the Drivers Program’ to conduct by TSCBOA

TSCBOACyberabad Police and Telangana State Cabs and Bus Operators Association (TSCBOA) will jointly conduct a training program for drivers operating in the twin cities including Cyberabad limits.

On February 7 the ‘Training and Appraising the Drivers Program’ will be launched by Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand at Cognizant Technology Services (CTS) premises at Gachibowli.

TSCBOA President Syed Nizamuddin said a release on Wednesday that, “Under the programme, nearly 25,000 drivers will be imparted training on key issues related to safety and security of passengers, especially those belonging to the IT sector”.

Experts on different subjects would brief them about the laws, rules and their role in ensuring safety and security of passengers. Nearly 1,500 drivers, working for different private cab operators, will participate in the inaugural program.

He said, “We will provide all drivers an opportunity to speak out their concerns and issues in order to offer solutions”.

The release also said that, Topics during the training will include proper documentation, vehicle maintenance, traffic rules, personal hygiene and women security among others”.
