T Rammohan Reddy the Parigi MLA said that farmers must be made to enter into partnership in the Mission Kakatiya program since it was highly beneficial to those who were heavily dependent on rainfall to carry out their activities.
On Tuesday, Mr. Reddy said while talking to the reporters that TRS government has released Rs 10 crore for the development of 70 lakes out of the 125 lakes in Parigi constituency during the first phase and advised the farmers to start their work. Works have already begun for some lakes in Parigi, Doma, Kurkacharla and Gandyadu mandals.
Mr. Reddy said distilling of lakes prevents the wastage of rainwater and also prevents the depletion of groundwater resources. He added that by the season of rainy will all filled up by the lakes and ponds would be in his constituency.
Harishwar Reddy the TRS politburo member said that the TRS government was fully committed to the completion of the prestigious Mission Kakatiya program.
Harishwar Reddy urged the farmers to come forward and extend their cooperation in this gigantic task.
