The ruling TRS seems not interested at all in cancelling the order of suspension of 10 Telugu Desam MLAs from Assembly for seven days. Every attempt being made by the Congress and the BJP to convince the ruling party to cancel the order has gone in vain.
The 10 TDP MLAs were suspended from the state Assembly after they created disturbance in the proceedings of the house despite being warned several times, and their leader Revanth Reddy allegedly posed comments on K Kavitha, MP Nizamabad, that TRS termed as offensive.
In an attempt to convince the government, BJP floor leader Dr. K Laxman met the Chief Minister requesting to take back the suspension but he was replied briskly that TDP MLAs should apologise for their comments and behaviour.
Similarly, the leader of Opposition in Assembly K Jana Reddy and several other MLAs urged Speaker and the Chief Minister but there was no response from the ruling brigade.
