‘TS, AP can share waters’

03TH_SUPREME_COURT_1319497f-300x199The supreme court after hearing the arguments on Krishna waters, opined that both the Telugu States must equally share the waters allocated to the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. On a petition filed by the TS, the court refused to issue notice to the Centre. TS advocate Vaidhyanathan argued that TS was ignored while allocating Krishna waters even while it was part of united AP and appealed for a new tribunal. AP advocate asked for re-examination of Brijesh tribunal ruling. The apex court adjourned the case to September 10. But before that the Bench headed by Justice Deepak Mishra asked the Centre to clarify whether to hear the arguments of two Telugu States or four States later on the issue.
