This project will come in Gajwel assembly constituency at Pamula Parthy village under Pranahita Chevella Project. It will cater to the need of Gajwel, Siddipet, Dubbak, Narsapur, and the neighboring Bhongir and Aler assembly constituencies.
While reviewing the Gajwel Area Development Authority (GADA) meeting at Yerravalli village in Medak district this evening Rao said it would irrigate about 1.40 lakh of acres land.
The CM also said that, “River Godavari is a boon for Telangana and for the development of the state we will utilize its water in scientific and appropriate manner.” Rao further said, “Pamulaparthy project will be more than 600 meters above the sea level and more appropriate place to construct the project. All the farmers and people, who would lose their lands in the project, will be compensated and rehabilitated fully. Only after that the construction work will be taken up”.
