TS CM Announced Rs 5000 Crore for Telangana Roads

v6-cm-kcrOn Saturday K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister of Telangana directed the officials to immediately set up Telangana Rural Development Corporation (TSRDC) for the development of roads in all the rural areas of the State.
The state government would spend Rs 5000 crore for the construction, renovation and repairs of roads which fall under Panchayat Raj Department announced the CM. He also held a high level review meeting on the status of Panchayat Raj Department roads in his chambers.Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the State government had decided to spend Rs. 200 crore to develop rural roads spread across 20,000 km of the State. Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Panchayat Raj minister K Taraka Rama Rao, Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Education Minister G Jagadeesh Reddy, and other officials of the state government attended the meeting.
