Very soon, every panchayat in Telangana will have computers for online tax payment. In the first phase 2400 computers and in the second phase 2900 computers will be installed.
The Panchayats which secure cent percent tax payment will be allotted funds from the state government.
The government’s move is likely to provide employment to 8500 youth from the state.
The online payment of taxes in the villages will be made at kiosks and each village will have one village-level entrepreneur (VLE). The VLE will get commission from the panchayats, an official said.
In another statement the PR department said that 27,70,685 people were getting social security pensions scheme, Aasra.
Meanwhile, the PR dept. is busy drafting a GO to extend the benefits of SCs to the Dalit Christians, which was promised by the CM recently.
